Learn more about Egypt - MacDuff is planning to visit the only Coptic Christian Church in Iowa on Saturday, May 6. St. Mary’s Coptic Christian Church is located at 954 Cummins Pkwy. near University and 63rd Streets.  Our brothers and sisters in Christ would love to show us their new church that they bought from the Beth El Jacob Synagogue a few months ago.  They would like to explain their Egyptian beliefs and show us their stunning burning bush stained glass window which covers one wall.  We will meet at our church at 9:00 am to begin our tour at 10:00 am.  We will have lunch together at the Machine Shed at Living History Farms off Hickman after the tour.  Everyone is welcome. If interested, call Jon & Margaret Vernon at 961-6748 or Blair & Marilyn at 961-2284.

Trinity Task Force - Session is putting together a task force to study the vibrant and important mission work of Trinity.  There will be representatives on the task force from Presbyterian Women, Mission Ministry Team, Trinity’s El Salvador Team, Administration & Finance, Session and Youth.  We are also looking for three other church members to serve as at-large participants on this task force who do not represent one of these other groups.  If this is something that you might like to do, please see Pastor Endriss.
